Henan Tailong Power Equipment Co,.Ltd Visits The Guo Xing Deeds Exhibition Hall To Carry Out Red-themed Education

On October 8, 2025, Henan Tailong Power Equipment Co., Ltd. organized party members and key employees to visit the Guo Xing Memorial Exhibition Hall in Huixian City to carry out a themed educational activity titled 'Inherit the Red Gene, Draw Strength for Progress.' Inside the exhibition hall, all participants systematically reviewed the legendary life of the anti-Japanese war hero Guo Xing. Through on-site visits and learning, they revisited the history of the War of Resistance, inspiring employees' patriotism and sense of corporate responsibility. This activity is one of Tailong Electric Power's measures to deepen the integration of 'Party building and business,' with red education becoming an important link for the company to unite the team and stimulate innovation.

General Guo Xing was from Jinzhang Village, Gaozhuang Township, Huixian City, Henan Province. He joined the Eighth Route Army at the age of 16 and became the captain of the Taihang Fifth Subdistrict guerilla team at the age of 17. In the northern Taihang Mountains of northern Henan, he fought against Japanese invaders, eliminated traitors, attacked trains, dismantled railways, and blew up watchtowers, winning many brilliant battles and establishing the reputation of the guerilla team. He was awarded the titles of "Guo Xing Model Guerilla Team" and "First-class Enemy Killer Hero" by the Jin-Ji-Lu-Yu Military Region and received commendations from Liu Bocheng and Deng Xiaoping. The character Li Xiangyang in the film "Plain Guerrilla" was mainly modeled after Guo Xing, and his brave and fearless image has been remembered by generations of Chinese people. In 1948, Guo Xing left the Taihang Mountains and participated in the Pingjin Campaign, Taiyuan Campaign, the campaign to suppress bandits in the Greater Qing Mountains of Hohhot, and the Korean War. After 1981, he served successively as deputy commander and commander of the North Xinjiang Military District, and retired in December 1986. Throughout his military career, Guo Xing personally commanded hundreds of battles. In peacetime, he summarized guerrilla warfare experiences, explored the rules of modern warfare, and was praised as "Li Xiangyang on the Gobi Desert." In his later years, his ambition remained strong. He volunteered to serve as the head of the Supervisory Group for Veteran Cadres and the director of the Working Committee for Young People in Luoyang City, dedicating his main efforts to educating the younger generation in patriotism and revolutionary heroism. As a "National Model for Active Seniors" and an "Outstanding Veteran Cadre Role Model," he attended the military commendation meetings twice and was warmly received by Party and State leaders including Jiang Zemin and Hu Jintao. The verse "The flames of the Anti-Japanese War rise in Taihang, aiding Korea crosses the Yalu River, banners wave on the snowy Tianshan, bow drawn on the Yellow River" truly depicts the life of General Guo Xing and forms the main theme of the exhibition hall. The Taihang Mountains stand tall and majestic, symbolizing the unyielding spirit of the Chinese nation. Patriotism and revolutionary heroism have always been a spiritual force that unites people and inspires progress. A mountain, a person, a kind of spirit-these are the positive forces driving the development of today's society.
